This service is currently in private alpha. By using Neigh, you acknowledge that the service is under active development and this policy may be updated as features change.

We collect the following information when you use Neigh:

• Account information: email address, first name, last name, and a hashed password when you register.
• Content you create: organization details, website pages, and uploaded images.
• Membership data: which organizations you belong to and your roles within them.
• Technical data: IP address (for rate limiting and CAPTCHA verification), browser type, and access timestamps in server logs.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Neigh platform.
• To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
• To serve the websites and content you create to the public.
• To prevent abuse through rate limiting and CAPTCHA verification.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a CouchDB database on our servers. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Authentication uses HTTP-only, secure cookies with JWT tokens. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Cloudflare Turnstile for CAPTCHA verification during registration and login. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.

6. Public Content

Websites you create and publish through Neigh are publicly accessible on the internet. Any content you add to your organization's website pages — including text, images, and HTML — will be visible to anyone who visits the site's URL or custom domain.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and export your content at any time.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
